ABOUT NUS FINTECH SOCIETY
NUS Fintech Society was founded in 2018 in collaboration with NUS Fintech Lab under the NUS School of Computing. We are a community of Fintech enthusiasts seeking opportunities to learn, grow, and deepen our knowledge, skills, and networks within the financial technology ecosystem.
ABOUT THE HACKATHON
The NUS Fintech Summit Hackathon is a 3-day innovation and development competition open primarily to university and tertiary students. Participants are challenged to ideate, design, and build solutions that address real-world problems in the finance industry, while delivering technically sound and well-designed applications aligned with current business and industry needs.
This year’s hackathon will run as a single-track competition centred around Ripple’s problem statement, which will be released on 5 January 2026. The problem statement will broadly relate to modern blockchain-enabled financial applications, setting the direction for participants to explore innovative use cases and solutions throughout the hackathon.
